Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for Anticipated Part-time Teaching Assistant positions at our Arlington High School as indicated below for the 2026-2027 school year. 

 

  • (1) 35 hr/wk Part-time Special Education Teaching Assistants (Life Skills)
    • Starting Salary $23,377

 

  • (1) 35 hr/wk Part-time Special Education Teaching Assistants (Special Class)
    • Starting Salary $23,377

 

 

 

The District offers:

  • Paid sick and personal days as well as health insurance coverage for positions that are 20 hrs/wk or more
  • Some paid holidays for those positions of 20 hrs/wk or more. 
  • Access to Educator’s EAP
  • Optional enrollment in 403B and/or NYS Teacher Retirement System (Pension)
  • Tuition reimbursement program (up to $1,000)

 

Starting salary is approximately $18.05/hr.  However, positions of 25 hours or more are salaried September through June. 

 

Anticipated positions will range in hours approximately 27.5 hours per week up to 35 hours per week.
