Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a full-time, 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic (2:00pm-9:30pm).  This is a full-time, 12-month position that includes a full benefits package.  This position involves a variety of building maintenance and repair tasks of a skilled nature.

Typical work may include but is not limited to the following:

• Supervises and/or performs skilled repairs to plumbing, steam lines, electric wiring and equipment, furniture, doors and windows, hardware and varied mechanical equipment and machinery;
• Installs shelving, storage cabinets and new hardware, and performs other skilled carpentry tasks;

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a full-time 12-Month Special Programs Systems Specialist.  This is a technical position that is typically assigned directly to a specialized program in a school district. The selected applicant would be involved in the daily operation of the program, ensuring that data managed by the system meets the specific requirements of the program.  The individual should have an in-depth knowledge of all applicable laws, rules, regulations and district policies.

Typical work may include, but not be limited to:

1. Performs sytem administrator type tasks, including the running and distribution of reports, importing and exporting data, auditing input for program acceptability and backing up files on a regular basis;
2. Oversees security of information contained on the system;
3. Able to report on all necessary data to Local, State or Federal agencies in accordance with all laws, rules, regulations and district polices and procedures;
4. Develops and maintains detailed manuals on use of system for both technical aspects and for program-related requirements;

Arlington Central School District is recruiting for per diem Substitute Registered Professional Nurses for the 2026/2027 school year. The starting rate of pay for a Substitute Nurse is $200/full-day.  As a per diem substitute, your position is based on working either a full-day or half-day.

This position involves responsibility for giving care to students and for performing related nursing services.  Interested applicants must have good knowledge of nursing principles and techniques; working knowledge of dietetics, sanitation and personal hygiene; good observation; mental alertness; firmness; initiative and more.

The Arlington Central School District is seeking substitute teaching assistants for the 2026/2027 school year.  Interviews will occur on a monthly basis.  The starting rate of pay for a Substitute Teaching Assistant is $18.05/hour.  Current NYS Teaching Assistant Certification preferred, must have a high school diploma or GED.  Fingerprint clearance will be required if hired.

The Arlington Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for per diem Substitute Teacher positions for the 2026/2027 school year.  The starting rate of pay for a Certified Substitute Teacher is $137/full-day and for a Non-Certified Substitute Teacher it is $127/full-day with the opportunity for a bonus to be paid in July 2027 (see details below).  As a per diem substitute, your position is based on working either a full-day or half-day.   Interviews will occur on a monthly basis.

Certified Teacher

• Substitute for at least 50 days = $500 bonus, or;
• Substitute for at least 75 days = $750 bonus, or;
• Substitute for at least 100 days = $1,000 bonus

Non-Certified Teacher

• Substitute for at least 50 days = $500 bonus, or;
• Substitute for at least 75 days = $750 bonus
