Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a Senior Typist at Union Vale Middle School starting at the end of August.  This is a 12-month position which includes full benefits.  The selected applicant will be responsible for the accurate performance of a wide variety of increasingly difficult keyboarding and clerical duties and requires attention to detail, computer expertise and the ability to multitask under pressure.    

Typical work may include but is not limited to the following:

  • Performs clerical support functions including project management, database management, record maintenance, skilled keyboarding, calendar management and department reception;
  • Orders supplies for the department;
  • Directs telephone and in-person callers and provides routine information and assistance;
  • Other duties as required by the department Administrator
