Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a 12-Month Typist with full benefits.  This position will be at Arlington High School and provides confidential secretarial and clerical support for their building and related administrators.  

Typical work may include but is not limited to the following:

  • General clerical duties including telephone skills, typing/word processing, filing and office organization
  • Greet visitors, staff and students in a professional and accommodating manner
  • Collate materials
  • Organize materials for mailings
  • Open and distribute mail
  • Other duties as required by the department Administrator

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a Head Custodian for its Arlington High School effective approximately May 1, 2025.  This is a full-time 12-month position with full benefits.  This position is a working supervisory position.  The selected candidate would lead and participate in the cleaning and maintenance of the building and related materials. 

Typical Work Activities:

  • Make regular inspections of buildings and grounds to maintain proper cleaning and maintenance procedures and make recommendations for improvements or equipment;
  • Train new employees and schedule and assign cleaning and maintenance work to subordinate personnel;
  • Keep records and make reports of supplies used and activities carried on; may assist with the ordering of custodial supplies;
  • Lead and participate in building cleaning and maintenance activities, such as dusting, moving furniture, sweeping, stripping/waxing floors etc.;
  • Related work as required.
