  • Design and implement engaging instruction tailored to students with autism, communication disorders, and learning differences.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and families to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Use data to drive instruction and monitor progress, ensuring every student grows academically, socially, and emotionally.

Arlington Central School District is seeking a passionate Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher to work with high school students at our Arlington High School.  This position will primarily focus on Early Childhood Education, including Early Childhood Practicum, providing students with hands-on learning experiences in child development and education careers. Additional courses may include Human Services classes such as Parenting, Lifespan Studies, Teen Issues, and Food and Human Services, with a possibility of teaching Food Core or electives such as Sports and Nutrition. The ideal candidate will engage students in practical, real-world learning that builds life skills and career awareness.

Arlington Central School District is seeking a dynamic Business Education Teacher for a 1.0 FTE Anticipated Probationary position at our Union Vale Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year.  This position focuses on teaching Computers 6.

Key Responsibilities & Curriculum:

  • Instruction of 6th-grade computer classes
  • Implementation of Project Lead the Way (PLTW) coding units
  • Coverage of essential digital literacy topics, including
    • Internet Safety & Digital Citizenship
    • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
    • Google Workspace for Education (Google Suites)
