Arlington Central School District is recruiting for Substitute Registered Professional Nurses.  This position may include but is not limited to:

  • coverage for a daily opening
  • need for additional help in a particular school

Substitute School Monitor - 23-2423-24 Sub School Monitor

The Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for Substitute School Monitors.  This position a great position for anone that loves working with children.  We are looking for fun-loving, energetic and kind people to apply.  This position will entail supervising lunch and reces which could include maintaining order on the playground, cafeteria, hallways and lobbies.  You may also be assed to escort students to-and-from special assignments.

Substitute Teaching Assistants - 23-2423-24 Substitute TAs

The Arlington Central School District is seeking substitute teaching assistants for the 2021/2022 school year.  Interviews will occur on a monthly basis most likely commencing in September 2021.  The starting rate of pay for a Substitute Teaching Assistant is $15.00/hour.  Current NYS Teaching Assistant Certification preferred, must have high school diploma or GED.  Fingerprint clearance will be required if hired.

Substitute Teachers - 23-2423-24 Substitute Teachers

The Arlington Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for per diem substitute teaching positions for the 2023/2024 school year.  Interviews will occur on a monthly basis.  The starting rate of pay for a Certified Subsitute Teacher is $120/day and for a Non-Certified Substitute Teacher it is $105/day with the opportunity for a bonus to be paid in July 2024 (see details below)

Certified Teacher

  • Substitute for at least 50 days = $500 bonus, or;
  • Substitute for at least 75 days = $750 bonus, or;
  • Substitute for at least 100 days = $1,000 bonus

Non-Certified Teacher

  • Substitute for at least 50 days = $500 bonus, or;
  • Substitute for at least 75 days = $750 bonus

Substitute Clerical - 23-2423-24 Sub Clerical/Typist

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a Substitute Clerical/Typists. Typical Work may include but is not limited to the following:

  • General clerical duties including telephone skills, typing/word processing, filing and office organization
  • Files correspondence, reports and other materials in accordance with departmental guidelines
  • Collate materials
  • Organize materials for mailings
  • Open and distribute mail
  • Other duties as required by department Administrator
