Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a full-time 2nd Shift Custodial Worker (Floater).  Typical work includes simple cleaning tasks under the general supervision of District Custodians.  Work may include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Dusting
• Washing walls, windows, woodwork, bathrooms
• Sweep, mop, wash floors
• Strip and wax floors
• Maintain building exteriors
• Gather and dispose of refuse
• Clean and polish furniture
• Assist in minor repairs
• Assist in snow removal

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Plumber.  This position involves the responsibility for efficient and workmanlike performance of a variety of plumbing tasks and odd jobs requiring a good knowledge of the trade.  Interested applicants must have a thorough knowledge of the common practices, tools, terminology, accident precautions and the ability to work from plans and specifications.

Typical Work may include but is not limited to the following:

• Repairs pipes and valve traps in heating systems,
• Installs and repairs fixtures such as lavatory facilities, drinking fountains and sprinkler systems,
• Clears stoppage in waste, sub soil and other drains,
• installs water service piping which includes wiping and testing joints,
• Does related work as required.

Hours: 2:00pm-9:30pm
