Arlington Central School District is hiring a Technology education certified teacher for a middle school position.  ACSD values both traditional CTE and engineering education.  The ideal candidate realizes the importance of individualized education and can create a classroom environment that develops the skills of all learners.  The successful candidate must have the technical and practical knowledge to lead in the classroom and to develop projects and activities that engage students while teaching them about the world of technology.  The ideal candidate should have an understanding of and ability to implement and assess project based learning and integrated projects.  Arlington Central School District has amazing facilities and departmental support and continues to invest in the newest technology to keep our classes relevant and engaging.  This position will be for the 2024-2025 school year.

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a 1.0 FTE Anticipated Probationary Music (Orchestra) Teacher located at our LaGrange Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year.

In addition to knowledge of orchestra literature and excellent conducting skills, the successful candidate will need strong skills in teaching small group string lessons and string pedagogy and technique. The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively is essential. The ability to instruct a variety of styles is a plus and the willingness to conduct extracurricular clubs is desired. Candidates should be well-versed in the use of Google Workspace Suite, including Google Classroom, Google Drive (docs, sheets, slides, etc.), and G-Mail. We are seeking a candidate who not only understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion, but is also eager to demonstrate a genuine commitment to fostering these values.

The Arlington Central School District has been recognized nationally with performances at national conferences and competitions as well as in New York State, and has achieved the highest ratings in festivals and adjudications. The district has been honored multiple times, including being named a Best Community for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation.
