Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a full-time, 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic (2:00pm-9:30pm).  This is a full-time, 12-month position that includes a full benefits package.  This position involves a variety of building maintenance and repair tasks of a skilled nature.

Typical work may include but is not limited to the following:

• Supervises and/or performs skilled repairs to plumbing, steam lines, electric wiring and equipment, furniture, doors and windows, hardware and varied mechanical equipment and machinery;
• Installs shelving, storage cabinets and new hardware, and performs other skilled carpentry tasks;
• Does skilled painting work;
• Maintains and repairs central heating systems;
• Performs ground maintenance and maintains athletic and playground facilities;
• Does related work as required

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a 1st Shift Custodial Worker (Floater).  This is a full-time, 12-month position that includes full benefits.  Typical work includes simple cleaning tasks under the general supervision of District Custodians.  Work may include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Dusting
• Washing walls, windows, woodwork, bathrooms
• Sweep, mop, wash floors
• Strip and wax floors
• Maintain building exteriors
• Gather and dispose of refuse
• Clean and polish furniture
• Assist in minor repairs
• Assist in snow removal
