Job Description

Arlington Central School District is seeking a passionate Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher to work with middle school students at our Union Vale Middle School.  This position will primarily focus on Early Childhood Education, including Early Childhood Practicum, providing students with hands-on learning experiences in child development and education careers. Additional courses may include Human Services classes such as Parenting, Lifespan Studies, Teen Issues, and Food and Human Services, with a possibility of teaching Food Core or electives such as Sports and Nutrition. The ideal candidate will engage students in practical, real-world learning that builds life skills and career awareness.

Job Qualifications

Minimum NYS Certification of Family and Consumer Sciences –or- Home Economics is required.
