Job Description

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a 1.0 FTE Anticipated Probationary Music (Band) Teacher for our LaGrange Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year.

The Arlington Central School District has been recognized nationally with performances at national conferences and competitions, as well as in New York State, and has achieved the highest ratings in festivals and adjudications. The district has been honored multiple times, by being named a Best Community for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation. 

In addition to extensive knowledge of wind and percussion pedagogy and excellent conducting skills, the successful candidate will need strong skills in teaching small group wind and percussion lessons. The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively is essential.

Salary: $64,517-$69,126

Job Qualifications

Minimum NYS Certification of Music is required.
