Job Description

Arlington Central School District has a full time leave replacement opening for an elementary general music and chorus teacher grades 3-5 effective approximately September 3, 2026 through March 15, 2027.

In addition to extensive knowledge of vocal music and classroom music pedagogy and strong technology skills, the successful candidate will need strong organizational and time management skills, flexibility, and vocal, piano and/or guitar skills.  Job candidates should be prepared to work with students of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as students with exceptional needs in both a general education and self-contained setting.  The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and families is essential. 

 

Salary: $64,517-$69,126

Job Qualifications

This position requires a minimum NYS certification of Music.
