Job Description

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for our Arlington High School Summer Program 2026 at Arlington High School beginning Wednesday July 8, 2026 through Monday August 17, 2026 for the following anticipated Teacher positions with NYS Certifications in the following subject areas:

• English Language Arts (Grades 9, 10, 11)

• Science (Earth and Space Science)

• Mathematics (Geometry; Algebra; Algebra 1B)

• Social Studies (Global History & Geography II; US History and Government; Participation in Government)

• English as a New Language

• Library Media Specialist

Summer Schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:15am – 12:15pm the calendar is as follows:

• July 8-9 (Wednesday -Thursday)

• July 13-16 (Monday- Thursday)

• July 20-23 (Monday - Thursday)

• July 27-July 30 (Monday - Thursday)

• August 3-6 (Monday - Thursday)

• August 10-13 (Monday-Thursday)

• Local Exams on August 17, 2026

• Regents Exams on August 18-19, 2026

 

Summer Teachers are paid hourly at a rate of $55/hr.

Job Qualifications

NYS Certifications in the following subject areas:

• English Language Arts 7-12

• Science (Earth Science)

• Mathematics 7-12

• Social Studies 7-12

• English as a New Language

• Library Media Specialist
