Job Description

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for Anticipated Teaching Assistant positions at our Arlington High School as indicated below for the 2025-2026 school year. 

 

• (1) 35 hr/wk Special Education Teaching Assistant
  • Starting Salary $22,054

 

 

 

The District offers:

• Paid sick and personal days as well as health insurance coverage for positions that are 20 hrs/wk or more
• Some paid holidays for those positions of 20 hrs/wk or more. 
• Access to Educator’s EAP
• Optional enrollment in 403B and/or NYS Teacher Retirement System (Pension)
• Tuition reimbursement program (up to $1,000)

 

Starting salary is approximately $17.03/hr.  However, positions of 25 hours or more are salaried September through June.

Job Qualifications

Current NYSED Teaching Assistant Certification preferred but required to obtain prior to May 2026.
