Job Description

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for Summer Student Maintenance Workers to assist the current maintenance staff from June 29th through August 28th.  Hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm.  Interested applicants must be 16 years of age or older with appropriate working papers.  Tasks in this position could include:

• Assists in a variety of tasks with regard to the upkeep of buildings and grounds
• Performing minor carpentry work such as repairs to furniture, shelving, painting, etc.  
• Assist in the upkeep of grounds, such as trimming edges, shrubbery, caring for flower beds, etc.
• Performing minor electrical work, such as replacing light bulbs and defective fuses
• Assists in the cleaning and maintaining of tools, machinery and other mechanical equipment
• Does related work as required
