Job Description

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a Physical Therapist for our Extended School Year (ESY) Special Education Summer Program beginning July 6, 2026 through August 14, 2026.  The ESY program is instruction and related services for students with disabilities.  

Typical Work Activities:

• Perform initial screenings, evaluations and consultations for students referred to the program;
• Develop school-based goals, treatment objectives and therapeutic activities;
• Maintain case notes and other written documentation as required by school policy or by state law;
• Assess and make recommendations regarding adaptive and orthotic equipment needs and monitor equipment status
• Related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Licensed and currently registered by the New York State Education Department as a Physical Therapist
