Job Description

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a 1.0 FTE Anticipated Temporary Social Studies Teacher in our Secondary Level Responsive Support Program effective approximately February 6, 2026 through TBD.  The Responsive Support Program is a new program for students having difficulty in their traditional classroom setting.  The program will focus on social, emotional and behavior skills using the Dialectical Behavior Skills framework.  The ideal candidate may have experience with students who have experienced school avoidance and emotionality (either inward or outward).  Additionally, the candidate should be flexible, positive and willing to help build this new program into the supportive environment students need. 

 

Job Qualifications

Minimum NYS Certification of Social Studies 7-12 is required.
