1. Currently working in, or previously held a Senior Account Clerk civil service title; or,
2. Other candidates who have equivalent education and licensing are encouraged to apply and will be considered as allowed per Civil Service regulations.

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a full-time, 12-Month Senior Account Clerk with full benefits for our payroll department.  This position is responsible for planning, managing and performing complex account-keeping and clerical work. Interested applicants must also have good knowledge of basic account keeping as well as payroll operations and processing.

Job Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two years of full-time work experience maintaining financial accounts and records;  OR:
• Completion of two years (30 credits are equal to one year) of college, business school or other post high school training which included four courses in account keeping or bookkeeping;  OR:
• An equivalent combination of the training and experience between the limits of (A) and (B) above.
