Job Description

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a part-time Typist. This position provides secretarial and clerical support for the Arlington High School's Special Education area.  The exact schedule is to be determined but will not exceed 18.75 hours per week.

Typical Work may include but is not limited to the following:

• General clerical duties including telephone skills, typing/word processing, filing and office organization
• Files correspondence, reports and other materials in accordance with departmental guidelines
• Collate materials
• Organize materials for mailings
• Open and distribute mail
• Other duties as required by department Administrator

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• Office experience preferred
• Ability to handle confidential material appropriately
• Physically able to perform all essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation)
