Job Description

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a 1.0 FTE Anticipated Probationary Special Education Teacher (Special Class Gr. 3-5) at our Arthur S. May School for the 2025-2026 school year.

Job Qualifications

• This position requires a minimum NYS Certification of Special Education or Students With Disabilities 1-6.
• Experience teaching students with Autism, communication disorders and feeding difficulties
• Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis and experience administering VB-MAPPs
• Must be collaborative and well-versed in assessment administration and data analysis.
• Display strong classroom management skills with effective communication skills
• Empathetic, Creative, Flexible and Adaptable
• Committed to ongoing Professional Development
