Job Description

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for Summer Student Maintenance Workers to assist the current maintenance staff from July 1st through August 29th.  The applicant must be either a graduating high school senior or a college student.  Tasks in this position could include:

• Assists in a variety of tasks with regard to the upkeep of buildings and grounds
• Performing minor carpentry work such as repairs to furniture, shelving, painting, etc.  
• Assist in the upkeep of grounds such as trimming edges, shrubbery, caring for flower beds, etc.
• Performing minor electrical work, such as replacing light bulbs and defective fuses
• Assists in the cleaning and maintaining of tools, machinery and other mechanical equipment
• Does related work as required
