***This position is a Competitive Civil Service Position and requires the applicant to be:

1. Reachable on an existing Dutchess County Human Resources Certification of Eligible List; or,
2. Currently working in, or previously held a Senior Account Clerk Typist civil service title; or,
3. Other candidates who have equivalent education and licensing are encouraged to apply and will be considered as allowed per Civil Service regulations.

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a full-time, 12-Month Senior Account Clerk Typist with full benefits starting July 1, 2024.  The position is located at our Arlington High School in the Athletic Department.  The selected applicant would be responsible for the performance of moderately complex account keeping as well as all clerical duties which require strong keyboarding skills and knowledge of account keeping principles and practices.

Job Qualifications

EITHER:

• Completion of 60 college credits, business school or other post-high school training which included four courses in account keeping and /or bookkeeping; OR:
• Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and two years of full-time work experience maintaining financial accounts and records; OR:
• An equivalent combination of training and experience between the limits of (A) and (B) above.
